Are you an online therapist seeking to a specialist online supervisor?
I support online therapists in both group and individual online supervision.
I have developed a model for online supervision which you can read more about by clicking this link.
I also believe in the importance of delivering my online supervision within the framework of the extensive documents provided by BACP:
These documents may appear a bit overwhelming but they keep you safe as the online therapist and their keep your clients safe as well.
Some information about Pip as an Online Supervisor
I have worked as a qualified online supervisor since 2016. This is specialist supervision delivered online to therapists themselves delivering their therapy online. My supervisees are located all over the world.
Because of my specialist training in online supervision I know and am experienced in working with the issues that regularly come up when working cross-border, jurisdiction issues, cultural and international issues and the extended levels of risk assessment and safeguarding that we need to consider.
I work both with individual supervisees and groups of up to four people. Working with groups is so rewarding for everyone as we all benefit from the diversity of training modalities (anything from CBT right through to psychoanalytic) and experience of the members of the group.
From feedback my supervision is both rewarding and enriching, leading to better outcomes for clients - obviously one of the aims of supervision, though not the only one.
I have developing my own model of online supervision: https://www.harleystreetonlinetherapy.com/weitz-online-supervision-5-dimensions-model - reading this will help you to know much more about the breadth and depth of online supervision.
I am happy to work with you using the online format that you prefer: live chat, email, or/and video, swapping between formats to suit you. BACP recommend that at least some of the supervision is received in the same format as the therapy you are delivering.
I am an ACTO Level 3 Senior Professional Member and a qualified online supervisor offering online supervision and an Honorary Fellow of ACTO.
I am the former Founder and Principal of The Academy for Online Therapy.
Although not teaching full time any more I provide training in online therapy and online supervision all over the world, as well as writing chapters and articles on these subjects. I am regularly asked to advise start ups in online therapy and have recently served as Clinical Director for Mental Health for two companies.
I hope this gives you a flavour of the supervision I offer and look forward to working with you. If you are looking for an online supervisor you can just book one session with me first to see if you like the way I work.
